Votorantim Finanças was set up in 1996 as a holding
company for other entities. Initially called VTR - Empreendimentos
e Participações Ltda., it later changed its name
to Votorantim Finanças.
As part of a broad restructuring completed in 2000, Votorantim
Finanças became the holding company for all of the
Group’s investments in the financial services industry.
